WTF?

I am currently in a teacher prep program. For the next few courses, my classmates and I will have to do field experience work.

I just received an email from the placement coordinator at my university stating I needed to print the forms she attached, fill them out, and take them to the school corporation with whom I want to work. Does this seem kosher to you?  Me, contacting the school, and not my university?

I—and all of my classmates—believe the university should be the one setting this up. I have emailed the program director, but have still to hear back. Also, the placement coordinator is out of office until next week!

What are your thoughts?
