Ficus benjamina. We call it Jut, after our friend Justin who got it for me at my undergraduate graduation. So, it’s been kickin it with me three years.
This is the bitchiest plant I’ve ever had to care for. It drops leaves like none other at the most simplest of things. I love/hate it.
We’re attempting to train the branches to intertwine, thus the cord around the base.
It has so far to go. There’s a five-foot one at my work that I’ve been scheming to steal. So I know this one can live a long time given the right environment. I’m just not so good at providing it.
